Of all Anniversary realms with offers, Dreamscythe is currently the cheapest realm to buy gold on. Prices here sit somewhere between vanilla's scarcity and TBC's inflation. Epic flying training at 70 drained a large amount of gold from the economy, and each new raid tier, now up to Black Temple and Mount Hyjal, revives demand for consumables, so prices swing from one week to the next more than on other versions.

What gold pays for on Anniversary realms
Outland opened to the Anniversary realms in January 2026. Phase 3 has been live since August 27, 2026, with Black Temple, the Battle for Mount Hyjal, Netherwing dailies and Arena Season 3, and Zul'Aman is announced for October 22. Nearly every gold decision here still comes back to one cost.
- Artisan Riding (epic flying)5,000g training; the mount is about 200g more
- Training is 5,000g, flat. Reputation won't bring it down: faction discounts cover regular riding training, while Expert and Artisan Riding get none. For one character that means many hours of farming, and that's before you buy a single flask. On these realms, this is the cost that sends most players looking to buy gold.
