WoW SoD Gold for Sale

Season of Discovery: hunting runes already takes up your evenings, so the gold for raiding doesn't have to.

Offers on every SoD realm

Not on sale right now.

None of these realms has a seller at the moment. Their pages stay up for the realm and its economy, but nothing can be ordered today.

Retail realms have live offers: see retail gold.

Realms without a seller today

8 SoD realms have no offers right now. Their pages cover the economy and the faction balance; they carry no price because nobody is selling.

WoW SoD Gold: how this market works

Season of Discovery: hunting runes already takes up your evenings, so the gold for raiding doesn't have to. None of the 8 realms here has a seller right now, so nothing on this page carries a price today. Each realm page still describes its economy, its faction balance and what gold is spent on.

The season ran in short, tight phases, so its realm economies never grew large. Gold costs more per thousand as a result, though you also need less of it: a modest purchase covers your runes, world buffs and consumables.

Classic gold stays where it lands: it does not cross to another version or to another Classic realm, and there is no Warband Bank to carry it. Choose the realm and faction your character plays, and each offer shows its full price before you continue.

Typical purchases

  • Collecting every rune — reagents plus travel
  • World buffs — 80–200g per raid lockout
  • Best-in-slot crafted items — 300–900g, by phase

What gold pays for in Season of Discovery

Season of Discovery ended its content with Phase 8, Scarlet Enclave, and now sits in maintenance mode: no Phase 9, no new realms. A settled economy has one upside, which is that prices hold steadier here than on any version still getting updates.

Level 60 epic mount800g, no discount available
800g, flat. No reputation brings it down, and on a level-60 season nobody argues about whether a mount is worth having. With no more content on the way, it is simply what moving around costs.
Consumables for a season1,500 to 2,500g
Raiding Scarlet Enclave for a season takes 1,500 to 2,500g in flasks, potions and enchants. Treat that as the realistic figure rather than the worst one: a committed raider spends dozens of gold per night on elixirs alone, potions not included.
World buffs from commendations50 each, was 100
Blizzard cut the War Effort Commendation cost of world buff consumables in half. It's still an expense every week you raid seriously, just a much smaller one than in earlier phases.
Hunting runesReagents, repairs, travel
Runes are the heart of SoD, and collecting them costs reagents, repairs and a lot of travel. None of it is pricey on its own, but together it's why so many characters hit 60 with empty pockets.

What SoD players buy gold for

No more phases, plenty left to do

In maintenance mode nothing new is coming, and no future phase will hand you a chance to farm. Whatever you still want to do in SoD, you'll do with gold that is already in the game.

Runes take the hours

Chasing engravings is the game. If you spent your leveling time on runes, you likely reached 60 without the savings raiding needs.

No reason to wait

A settled economy has no inflation to farm ahead of and no price drop to hold out for. Putting off a purchase gains you nothing.

A small market

SoD's population is limited, and so is the gold changing hands. Check the stock and minimum on an offer before you plan a large order around it.

How a gold order works here

Four steps from this page to gold in your mailbox. Nobody asks for your account login at any point.

  1. Find your realmOpen your version, then the realm your character plays on. Connected realms are listed together, and each realm page names every member of its group.
  2. Compare the offersEvery offer shows its rate, the stock behind it, the minimum order and the delivery time. Pick the row for your faction and an amount that fits.
  3. Continue to the sellerThe order is placed and paid on the seller's own site. Your realm, faction and amount travel with you, so there is nothing to type twice.
  4. Receive the goldName the character that should get the gold. It arrives by in-game mail or in a face-to-face trade, as the offer states, and nobody needs your password or authenticator.

How this storefront works

Prices from the catalog

Every rate and every starting price is read from the sellers' catalogs when the site is built. None of them is typed in by hand.

Nothing listed, nothing shown

When no seller offers a realm or a service, the page says not on sale right now instead of showing a number.

The seller before you click

Every gold offer names its seller, the stock behind it and the delivery time before you continue.

Checkout with the seller

The order is placed and paid on the seller's own site, and the gold or the service goes to your character in game.

Questions and answers

What does WoW SoD Gold cost right now?

No seller lists gold on these realms at the moment, so there is no price to give. When one does, the offer appears in the list above with the seller's name on it.

Where is SoD gold cheapest?

Nowhere at the moment: no seller lists gold on these realms, so there is no cheapest or dearest. The realm pages still describe each economy.

Can Season of Discovery gold be moved to another WoW version?

No. Each version runs its own economy with its own characters, and nothing carries Season of Discovery gold out of it: not a transfer, not a token, not a trade.

What do I need to give the seller?

The character that receives the gold, its realm and its faction, plus an email for the receipt. Gold is delivered to a character, so nothing beyond that is needed.

How is WoW gold delivered?

By in-game mail or in a face-to-face trade, whichever the offer lists. Larger amounts are often split into several hand-offs, and each offer shows its delivery time before you continue.

What if the gold does not arrive in the time shown?

Write to support with the order number. The refund page explains how missed and partial deliveries are handled.
