Zandalari Direhorn Boost and Troll Unlock

A Zandalari Direhorn boost covers everything between your Horde character and the armored direhorn of the Zandalari Empire. The mount comes from the Battle for Azeroth recruitment of the Zandalari trolls, and if the race is still locked on your account, our order opens it too.

Zandalari Direhorn carry: what we handle

Every prerequisite quest, reputation or achievement the unlock still needs on your account
The full recruitment questline, from the royal invitation to Queen Talanji
The Zandalari troll allied race, if you have not unlocked it yet
The direhorn itself, added to your collection

The price is set in advance and there is nothing to configure. The direhorn does not fly, and only Horde characters can earn or ride it.

Fourteen quests to the throne

The story opens at the Orgrimmar embassy with A Royal Occasion, an invitation from the Zandalari court. Fourteen quests on, the Zandalari Empire formally joins the Horde in Allegiance of the Zandalari, which you turn in to Queen Talanji. That turn-in brings the direhorn, and from then on Zandalari trolls appear as a choice at character creation.

The old gate is gone

Until patch 10.1.5 this recruitment asked for a lot: Exalted with the Zandalari Empire plus the achievements Zandalar Forever! and Tides of Vengeance. Today the single condition is reaching level 40 on a Horde character, and once the recruitment is done it counts for the entire account.

Raised by the Zandalari

The mount journal lets the trolls brag: nobody on Azeroth tamed its fiercest lizards before the Zandalari did. The direhorn is the one they trust to a new ally of the Horde.

For the tauren side of the Horde, see the Highmountain Thunderhoof. The rest of our catalog waits in the mounts section.

Zandalari Direhorn carry: what people ask

Which quest rewards the Zandalari Direhorn?

Allegiance of the Zandalari, the last quest of the recruitment, handed in to Queen Talanji.

Where does the recruitment begin?

At the embassy in Orgrimmar, with A Royal Occasion. The chain is fourteen quests long.

Are Zandalar Forever! and Tides of Vengeance still required?

Not anymore. Both achievements and the Zandalari Empire reputation were dropped in patch 10.1.5, and level 40 on a Horde character is enough to start.

Will the order unlock Zandalari trolls?

Yes. If the race is still locked on your account, we unlock it along with the mount.

Can Alliance players get the direhorn?

No. It is a Horde-only mount.
