There is no buying an Elite set outright and no farm route to it. The pieces appear as the character reaches rating ranks while the season is live, and every season introduces a fresh set. With a WoW PvP Elite sets boost, which some call an Elite transmog carry, we reach the rank you paid for and you keep every piece that rank releases, along with the season's rank title and all the Honor and Conquest collected during the climb.
We sell the set by the rank it reaches. The first tier, Rival I, releases part of the look. Rival II, one rank higher, releases a bigger part, which means a longer climb and a higher row in the price table. The options also list Duelist, the rank that sits above both Rival tiers.
Playing it yourself is allowed here: with self-play you log in to your own character, group up with the boosters and fight for the rank together. Rather not play? Choose piloted, where a booster signs in for you, or remote control through your own computer.
A character short on PvP gear can take Honor gear, Conquest gear or the best-in-slot PvP kit inside the set order, and full sockets or the weekly PvP quests on top. Rank and equipment climb together, since each higher rank brings Conquest in faster.
Next to the set sits Elite PvP Gear, a separate order for Elite-tier equipment that already wears this season's Elite look. If you want a complete set of gear and no rank, open the PvP gear carry; for higher arena ranks, the 3v3 rating boost.
Decide which tier you want and whether you will play. Self-play means being online with the boosters for the games; piloted play means the booster needs to be able to sign in. Then check whether the character needs gear for the climb, and add it in the same order if it does.
No, despite what the name suggests. Unlocks start from Rival I. Elite itself is a different and higher rank, which has its own achievement and grants the title the Elite.
Yes. Unlocked pieces remain in your collection for good. The window to unlock them is what shuts when the season ends, and a new set replaces this one.
It is not required. A character with weak gear can get Honor, Conquest or best-in-slot PvP pieces through the same order, and they are in place before the climb starts.
Rival comes after Combatant and Challenger and before Duelist and Elite. Two ranks, Combatant I and Elite, have achievements and titles that the ranks table here lists.
